Job Description
Primary Function To ensure timely and accurate preparation and maintenance of schedules and progress reports for the project duration   This includes the assistance in development and maintenance of project schedules dashboards and interfacing with internal stakeholders as well as the client Tasks & Responsibilities Review work scope with Operations Engineers to define logic interfaces and interdependencies between activities Take an active role in schedule review validation and risk assessmentProvide schedule analysis Identify potential delays establish mitigating measures corrective actions and optimizationsAssist the Commercial Contracts team in identifying any changes to base scope and provide supporting information for associated change order work whilst giving due consideration to contractual milestonesProvide input and produce various reports generated for Clients as well as internal management reviewsEnsure that all input to the project plan is accurate and consistent with the logic networkPrepare and update schedules and offshore campaign performance and progress measurements reports

Education Must have an engineering or trade qualificationExperience Minimum experience of 5 years within the Oil & Gas IndustryAdditional Must have SURF installation hookup and pre-commissioning experience Must have working experience with Primavera P6 (or higher) and MS Office software (including MS Project)Highly developed communication skills with an ability to build effective relationships across multiple functions at all business levelsGood numerical analytical and literacy skills with a strong attention to detailTeam player with a willingness to share ideas with multi-disciplinary team membersDemonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and prioritize requestsStrong commercial acumen and experience in working with change ordersExperience working on a lump sum project an advantageCompany Overview McDermott is a premier fully-integrated provider of technology engineering and construction solutions to the energy industry For more than a century customers have trusted McDermott to design and build end-to-end infrastructure and technology solutions—from the wellhead to the storage tank—to transport and transform oil and gas into the products the world needs today
