We are looking for a Payroll Administration Officer with recruitment and labour hire experience. The initial contract will be 6 months but will offer a permanent role for the riight person. The role is based in Perth CBD. Our payroll is large and complex, contractors working on different visas, in different countries, being paid in different currencies. We need a candidate with exceptional attention to details and great customer service skills. We pride on ourselves on making sure our work force is paid correctly on time every time.The candidate will be looking after our growing list of contractors all over Australia and the Asia Pacific region within the oil & gas, mining, rail, and infrastructure industries. Start date will be ASAP. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Checking of time sheetsCorporate expensesEnsure all our contractors are paid accurately and on timeProvide impressive customer service.Work 20-25 hours a week, Tuesdays 8.30 – 5.30 and tentatively Wednesdays and Thursdays (Some flexibility exists with work times except for Tuesdays (which is pay day)). To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate:Previous experience in the recruitment and labour hire industry is a mustPrevious role in payroll administration working with Australia tax and super lawsUnderstanding of Australian taxation tables and superannuation, a basic knowledge of FBT is beneficialPrevious experience working with software Astute is beneficialKnowledge of interpreting different client time sheetsPrevious experience with Fieldglass and Bullhorn would be an advantagePrevious experience in a Recruitment Agency setting would be a benefit Who are we?
