We are seeking a full time Chef who will be able to work independently or as a part of a team, reliable and will be rewarded with a great salary also a friendly and supportive work environment.
To be successful in this role you will need:
· Responsible for the planning and directing of food preparation, cooking and presentation in the kitchen.
· Stocking and maintaining adequate levels of food product at line stations.
· Work with Managers for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies.
· Work with Managers to plan menus that are flavorful and popular with customers.
· Seasoning and cooking food according to the Business'' recipes and/or personal judgement and experience.
· Monitor and ensure food quality, quantity, taste and presentation are in accordance to the menu and customer preference at all times.
· Ensuring food meets exceptional standard for both quality and quantity.
· Assist with the recruitment, training, mentoring and supervision of cooks and kitchen staff. Demonstrate cooking methods and practices.
· Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen.
Comply with all health and safety regulations.
Requirements/Skills Qualification:
· Degree in Hospitality/Commercial Cookery;
· At least 3 years of relevant experience
· Great communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work within a pressurised environment and maintain attention to detail
· Strong analytical and organisational skills
· Leadership Skills
· Flair for taste and creativity
