You will be a specialist in Katana and Maya (software), capable of being very hands-on as well as strategic in order to establish the pipeline and capacity to manage multiple productions. You also be working as a creative lighting artist as required to establish high production value shots on our features and series. Artistic and technically driven you will be well-rounded in all aspects of CG production. Technically interpreting and supporting the Directors’ vision and ensuring the highest quality of work is achieved within the parameters of the schedule and budget, while keeping a watchful eye and reporting any issues with the project deliverables. Your excellent lighting skills and ability will be utilised both in-house and with off-shore studio service partners. A strong natural leader you will be comfortable in providing clear direction to all CG departments (including those in overseas studios), setting clear objectives, monitoring their process, progress and results. You will be able to clearly brief developers on user specifications for the pipeline. You will determine, modify and maintain the most effective and efficient technical approach and workflow possible.
Skillset: - Excellent verbal and written communication; - Superior knowledge of CG pipeline, processes, software and other related technical aspects for television and film production. - Superior team leadership skills including, diplomacy, solutions focused thinking, calm under pressure, excellent time management and conflict management skills; - Senior knowledge and ability as a CG artist, lighting and compositing artist.Salary range will be between : $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 /year
