Business Analyst - Clinical costing

Decision Support Unit

Permanent- Full Time

(80hrs a fortnight with ADO)

Ballarat Health Services is seeking a dynamic and energetic Business Analyst-Clinical costing to work in the Decision Support Unit within Information Management.

The position is responsible for providing clinical costing services across Ballarat Health Services, including the processing of general ledger, patient activity and patient service data in Power Performance Manager (PPM - PowerHealth Solutions), and the subsequent production of cost data. The position is also responsible for ensuring that all external and internal reporting requirements for costing data are met on time and produced in accordance with relevant costing standards

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Significant experience in clinical costing or willingness to learn through on the job training
  • Experience in financial accounting
  • Experience in dashboard design and development
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving ability
  • Effective written and communication skills
  • Recent graduates with appropriate tertiary qualifications are encouraged to apply.
