As an Analyst Programmer you''ll work within an organisation, helping to manage, change and plan for the future in line with their goals. Ideally you will have developed skills in one or more of the major programming languages C#, Sharepoint, SQL BI Stack, JQuery, Power BI, Qlik View. As well as one or more formatting applications (Dialogue, IBS, PReS). In addition you will have solid documentations skills, a positive can do attitude and willingness to be flexible.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience necessary.
Tasks Include:

• Researching, consulting, analysing and evaluating system program needs


• identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods


• testing, debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure programs and applications perform to specification


• writing and maintaining program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards


• writing, updating and maintaining technical program, end user documentation and operational procedures


• providing advice, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities such as financial evaluation and costings for recommending software purchases and upgrades

Responsibilities
Coding, testing and installing Applications either in one major program or in a variety of programs across platforms.

• Assisting in the analysis and design of applications programs and databases.


• Documenting developed Programs.


• Maintaining application Programs and enhancing/modifying as required.


• Enter Programming time sheets and job actuals for any jobs processed.


• Liaise with IT Manager on the progress of current conversions and of any corrupt data media.


• Other duties as assigned by IT Manager.

 Qualifications and experience

• Computing degree qualification preferred.


• At least five years’ experience is required with two years’ experience within a large IT site preferred.


• Excellent English oral and written communication skills.


• Medium to High level of competence in Microsoft Office products preferred.

Salary $75,000 to $85,000 (Base Salary)
