Position: Office Admin all-rounder Employment:

Full Time 38 hrs per week 

Location: Breakwater Geelong VICTORIA

About the business:
Family owned business operating over 25 years specialising in steel sales & small fabrication. The company services mostly small domestic builders, landscapers, fencers & handyman; providing steel as a steel merchant, and services such as band sawing, cold sawing, cropping, guillotining, press braking, and a light structural steel & general fabrication service.

About the Role
We are seeking outstanding candidates, who can prove their experience; a talented all-rounder, who enjoys variety, is ambitious, and wants to work in a business who is keen to promote. This is a permanent full-time position; for a newly created role, for a small to medium sized business in the Geelong area. The position will suit a self-driven person, a dedicated leader, hardworking, experienced working in a well organised professional environment, and has a high level of attention to detail. The job would suit someone who takes great pride in their work, likes to be organised, can organise others, is able to multi-task, someone who can’t leave until their work is finished, efficient, who does the job right the first time, and wants to be recognised for doing a great job. The main purpose of this role is to assist the transition of two dedicated team members with reducing their hours or retiring, after 20 +years of faithful service; to streamline their positions to enable various aspects of their function to be handed over into a newly created position. This newly created position will become a very valuable cog in the business. The role will initially encompass an accounts process function, and have some sales assistance responsibility; with the ability to branch off into either direction which may suit best the candidate’s passion and drive.
